To mark the completion of the 2006 Artist-in-Residence Program series, The Center for Book Arts will be hosting an exhibition of the new works made by the featured Artists; Tomie Arai, Amy Chan, Pablo Helguera, Jason Lujan & Shervone Neckles. Please join us this Friday, April 13, from 6-8pm, for the opening reception of the two spring exhibitions: Featured Artist Project: 2006 Artists-in-Residence Workspace Program and in the main exhibition Black/White [and Read] organized by Gloria Helfgott and featuring the work by 24 artists from both the east and west coasts.
